Recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) has been around for quite some time now, yet many misconceptions and stigma associated with it continue to cloud its true value. However, today, a Fort Lauderdale, FL-based global talent solutions firm, MSH Talent Solutions, is debunking these RPO myths and setting the record straight through its unique approach to recruitment and how it supports organizations in aligning their people, process, and technology with business objectives. MSH takes a consultative approach to the commoditized world of external recruiting and solves any talent-centered business challenge through flexible, comprehensive solutions. Oz Rashid, CEO of MSH Talent Solutions, says, “Recruitment in the RPO industry has traditionally been centered on the business model as opposed to being customer-focused. The key to our continued success is the relentless focus we place on our customers’ needs. We provide our customers with the tools they need to run a successful program.”
MSH excels at developing customized solutions using the best practices it has amassed over the years by working with some of the biggest companies. “We tap into our client’s business know-how to serve them as a valued partner and deliver consultative talent solutions that have a meaningful impact. By developing process and technology solutions in conjunction with our clients, we drive synergies and economies of scale—inducing a more efficient, cost-effective, and optimal hiring process,” adds Oz.
MSH handles the entire recruitment process by seamlessly integrating with a client’s HR department. “Our ability to design and implement customized, ondemand ‘People Programs’ delivers exceptional results for large-scale talent initiatives as well as critical just-intime needs. We can quickly bring together the experts an organization needs to implement a recruitment strategy,” explains Oz.
Another notable aspect of MSH is that it operates at the intersection of people, process, and technology to provide tailored technology and talent solutions programs to its clients. Coming to the people aspect of things, Oz mentions, “We are very particular about who we hire and train.
We tap into our client’s business know-how to serve them as a valued partner and deliver consultative talent solutions that have a meaningful impact
Our employee selection and development process, combined with our ‘people-first’ culture, beget a sustainable competitive advantage for MSH as well as our clients.” MSH engages a unique combination of skilled practitioners who think beyond resumes and traditional recruiting tactics to deliver a broader and more meaningful impact. “A big differentiator for us is our India model. We have two offices in India with over 75 people, and they focus 60-70 percent of their time on sourcing the right talent. This not only leads to a lot of efficiency on our part but also allows our recruiters to focus on building relationships with hiring leaders, qualifying candidates, and improving the candidate experience,” states Oz. MSH’s process expertise enables them to ask the right questions, find the right people, and use the right tools to achieve the goals.
Recently, the company created a new talent portal using which businesses can find high-quality candidates quicker than ever before. The portal uses AI and machine learning to understand a client’s vacancies and job requirements and match candidates at a much deeper, more sophisticated level. It leverages predictive analytics to understand traditional hiring spikes with different client partners on a yearto- year basis and scales its people programs. Furthermore, MSH has built a platform with an algorithmic search capability that considers not only a candidate’s technical skills but also their behavioral competencies. By matching the requirements of a position, company culture, and business objectives, the platform identifies the right behavioral and competency profile to ensure the right fit.
As a testament to MSH’s services and its relentless focus on customercentricity, Oz shares the success story of an innovative startup in the palliative nursing space. MSH designed a customized people program consisting of building “talent communities” that enabled the client to build a bench and hit the ground running in the markets they were opening. “We have done over 150 hires for them over a year and will continue to grow with them moving forward. When we first started working with the client, they had about 30-50 employees; now they have over 400 employees,” remarks Oz. MSH has also done campus recruiting for the client—on a global level.
Such successes have only fueled MSH’s commitment to providing best-in-class solutions to its clients. With a global footprint spanning over 35 markets across three continents, MSH is all set to celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2021. The firm also plans to enhance its services, especially in healthcare, while expanding its offshore capabilities. “2021 will be a big inflection point for our growth. We will continue to increase our branding effort, which is central to our progress going forward,” wraps up Oz.
